The inquiry form is designed for early-stage and active renewable energy projects. You can use it for residential storage, solar plus battery retrofits, commercial demand management, fleet charging depots, utility-scale storage reviews or integrated sites that combine several energy assets.

Helpful details include current utility bills, interval data, roof or land availability, charger quantities, critical load lists, outage concerns, planned EV adoption, regional code requirements and target commissioning dates. If you do not have all of that yet, send the basics. Tesla can help organize the next discovery step and identify which assumptions need engineering review.

For procurement and EPC teams, the form can also be used to request product category guidance, compatibility notes and documentation for stakeholder review. For facility teams, it can start a discussion around monitoring, demand management and lifecycle support. For residential channels, it can begin a simpler conversation about backup priorities, solar self-consumption and app-based visibility.

After the first message, the conversation usually narrows into a few practical questions: what the site must keep powered, how quickly new electric loads will arrive, which utility rules influence interconnection, and how the owner wants to measure success after commissioning. That structure keeps the discussion useful for both commercial decision makers and technical reviewers.
